Marlene earned her college degree in Horsemanship Stable Management in 1983 at Ricks College. She served her internship at the King Ranch in Kingsville, Texas. Marlene earned the Idaho State Horsemanship Award in 1979. Her previous experiences involve: Horse 4-H, High School and College Rodeo, participating in Showing, Reigning, Barrel Racing, Roping, Goat-Tying, Pole-Bending, and Rodeo Queen Contests. And in 1999, she instructed a Continuing Education Course in Horse Training at Ricks College.
Marlene enjoys sharing her knowledge with her students. Students learn to better understand the horse, proper care and safety, and how to develop balance and harmony with the horse.
The education and experience that will be gained through the program enables the student to sucessfully persue any future equestrian goals. The Art of Horsemanship creates the most solid understanding and communication between man and horse.
